Solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) offers numerous advantages over liquid-phase peptide synthesis (LPPS) for the preparation and large-scale manufacturing of synthetic peptides. Except in the case of very short sequences (fewer than five amino acids), SPPS is generally faster, more efficient, and more economical.
Electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy (ESI-MS) as a common technique for peptide characterization, but understanding and interpreting the spectrum can be complicated due to the multiplicity of the data.

Most proteinogenic peptides, except for certain hydrophobic sequences, can be synthesized in a linear fashion using solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) methods. However, longer sequences, particularly those exceeding 70 amino acids, typically require alternative techniques for synthesis.

This white paper explores the click cyclization of RP-182, a promising cancer immunotherapy candidate. Our innovative approach showcases the use of copper catalysis to increase the macrocyclization efficiency of longer peptides under green reaction conditions.
Mass spectroscopy-based techniques have evolved as a powerful tool in proteomics. Stable isotope-labeled peptides (SIL peptides) are chemically and physically indistinguishable from their endogenous counterparts with respect to retention time, ionization efficiency, and fragmentation pathways.

PEG36-Nle(O-Bzl)-Met(O)2-Oic-Abu-ACC was designed in house and synthesized by CPC Scientific Inc (San Jose, CA, Fig. S1). Amino-PEG36-acid (CAS: 196936-04-6) and 2-(7-amino-2-oxochromen-4-yl)acetamide (CAS:296236-23-2) were used for the synthesis. The synthesized sensor was resuspended in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-grade water with a concentration of 200 µM.
